Because some ‘truths’ in this world aren’t really true—they’re just there to keep the status quo.

First brainstormed as the “Myth of Natural Talent” and inspired into broader terms, DEBUNKED aims to dismantle ideals, concepts, and stereotypes the system has advertised as ‘truth’. We’re busting everything and anything that you feel should have its expectations defied and redefined.

TEDxUCIrvine strives to produce concepts that lend to the inclusion of a wide topic array from various perspectives. That’s why we’ve left it vague. The idea is to eliminate any restrictions to the content presented, without obstructing the ultimate goal: to have talks with a purpose.

Whatever debunking means to you, we’re all for it.
